I have been a California massage therapist since 2016 and I have been in private practice since 2018. I moved to Lincoln with my family in 1988 and attended Lincoln High School. After graduation I worked in construction until I had to leave that profession due to my inherited eye condition Choroideremia, which is a condition characterized by progressive vision loss. I have always been physically active and had a passion for healthy living however I had never experienced a massage until after I made my decision to attend the National Holistic Institute in Sacramento California. After receiving my first massage in a hands-on class, the seed was planted and I knew this was what I wanted to do. I now have experienced many massages by a variety of therapists and massage has become an important part of my health and wellbeing. I'm presently in the process of completing a 450 hour advanced neuromuscular program to increase my skills as a therapist. I chose my career in massage therapy confidently because it enables me to help people and provide for my family on an even playing field without my vision.
